Our Antenatal Courses
We offer a variety of antenatal courses to choose from, so you can find the one that best fits your needs and schedule.
Our evidence-led antenatal classes are taught by experienced and qualified midwives and are designed to provide you with the information and tools you need to prepare for the arrival of your new baby.
Full Antenatal Course
Prepare for your little one’s arrival with our comprehensive Full Antenatal Course. This 12-hour course, led by a qualified midwife, includes in-depth discussions on:
- Health & Wellbeing
- Planning for Birth
- Giving Birth
- Preparing for First 72 hours
- Infant Feeding
- Postnatal Care & Wellbeing
Across these antenatal courses your teacher will answer questions frequently asked, like how to manage the early stages of labour, pain relief options, and how to be a supportive birth partner.
You have the flexibility to attend this antenatal course over a 6-week period or condensed into 2 days over a weekend. If you opt for the 6-week course, we recommend attending the first session by 32 weeks, if possible. This way, you’ll be well-prepared, regardless of your baby’s timeline.
Antenatal courses are a great way to learn about pregnancy and childbirth, but they can sometimes be too late to start learning about nutrition, diet, and other important topics. That’s why we’ve designed our Mid-Pregnancy Course to help you prepare for your second trimester.
This 4-hour course, led by one of our experienced midwives, will guide you through the changes happening in your body and your baby as you reach your half-way milestone.
Your course handbook and pregnancy journey
To complement your antenatal classes we have designed a course handbook, The Parents Guide, that will be posted to you once you have completed your booking with us. The perfect companion to your antenatal course, it includes useful summaries, a list of resources and lots of space to take notes and write down questions.
You’ll also receive your very own Pregnancy Journal, a beautifully designed diary useful throughout your entire pregnancy. The perfect way to record the special moments of your pregnancy.
Your booking also includes a newborn meet-up once you and your course mates’ babies have arrived, so you can reconnect and stay in touch post birth too.
